The intensity of a magic mushroom trip is hard to measure. The amount of mushrooms you take and how potent they are both play a role in your psychedelic experience. Taking two grams of mushrooms instead of one gram won’t necessarily “double” how high you feel—your trip could be exponentially stronger.
The same is true with potency—taking a mushroom with twice the amount of psilocybin or psilocin may lead to an exponentially more intense trip.
Other important factors to keep in mind when taking mushrooms are set and setting, meaning your mindset and environment when tripping. Doing mushrooms with close friends out in nature will lead to a much different trip than doing them with strangers at a crowded party, regardless of potency or dosage.

Enigma Mushrooms
The Enigma Psilocybe Cubensis is a rare mutation of two potent strains of Cubensis, the Penis Envy X B plus Tidal Wave. This enigmatic mushroom does not sporulate, meaning its eternally stuck living across a single generation through clones. Visually the characteristics of this strain are also distinctive, with a blob like formation that likes similar to a cauliflower or brain, with thick dense kernels off mycelium and long thick shafts of mushrooms. This shroom is extraordinarily potent and considered the most potent of all psilocybin Cubensis strains.
White Rabbit Mushrooms
The White Rabbit strain first appeared in Holland, and was bred by a group of cultivators who specialize in the development of new magic mushroom varieties. White Rabbit is a quite stable genetic (even from spore) and retains some of the most desired qualities of each of its genealogical parents, such as increased potency, beautiful pallid coloration, and above-average yields (for a variety with Pe genetics).
Aesthetically, this strain typically produces short and fat mushrooms, with thick, dense stems and large pale white caps, often split at the margins.
Penis Envy Supreme
This “strain” is colloquially known as the most potent Psilocybe cubensis magic mushroom variety, but unfortunately due to the current legality surrounding shrooms, there are no easily accessible test results to confirm exactly how much more potent this variety is.
Several anecdotal reports have claimed that the experience elicited by consuming Penis Envy Supreme is much more intense, visual, and euphoric than other magic mushrooms of the Cubensis species, and some have even analogized the experience to that which is elicited by other considerably “stronger” psychedelics like DMT or LSD.
The Blue Meanie high is described by an extremely uplifting and psychoactive sensation at a normal peaking frequency accompanied by intense auditory and visual hallucinations, euphoria, and a heavy body buzz. This strain has been reported to give users an even more psychedelic experience than easier-to-grow mushrooms, such as the Golden Teacher because it contains rich amounts of psilocin and psilocybin. Its effects last for about four to eight hours which may be overwhelming for new users so make sure to be cautious with the dosage.
Blue Meanies are recommended for users looking to have a good time with friends or by themselves. The immense euphoria and feelings of bliss with imaginative hallucinations and extreme laughter will surely be a memorable experience.
Gold Member Mushrooms
Gold Member is a hybrid between Golden Teacher and Penis Envy, which inherits the best traits from each of its genealogical parents.
The Gold Member shrooms are characterized by golden/caramel caps ranging in size and light/colourless very thick stems. The appearance seems to be like its lineage Penis Envy and Golden Teachers. Some mushrooms look very similar to Penis Envy with thick and short stalky mushrooms, and some look like stalky and short Golden Teachers. Expect high potency.
